Couple Robs Laundromat

The Kewanee police department is asking for your help in identifying a couple who they say robbed a laundromat and may have committed similar robberies in other towns.

Police say this couple entered the Midtown Coin Laundry on Burr Boulevard on January 27th between 6 a.m. and 6:30 a.m.

The surveillance camera caught the man manipulating a change machine and stealing 300-dollars in quarters while the woman acted as lookout.

The woman was wearing a black coat and a gray "old Navy" sweatshirt. The man was wearing an "East Coast Choppers" sweatshirt.

Police believe they were driving a maroon Ford Windstar Van.
