Courthouse employee accused of hiding murder weapon indicted

PEORIA, Ill. -- A Peoria courthouse employee accused of hiding a murder weapon was indicted by a Peoria County Grand Jury on Tuesday.

Kimberly McNeil, who worked in the Circuit Clerk's office, is the mother of accused murders Marquis and Michael Costic.

Marquis was convicted for the April 2013 murder of Treyshawn Blakely, 17. Michael is awaiting trial for the same crime.

According to court documents, McNeil is accused of hiding the murder weapon, believed to be an AR-15 rifle, by throwing it into the Illinois River.

Her next court date is February 13.

Marcis Boone, 28, 1620 NE Madison Ave, two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon.

Ernest Foster, 29, 1521 S Lydia, unlawful use of a weapon by a felon.

Shameka Pate, 25, 1813 N Ellis, theft.

Gerald Embrey, 18, 1533 W Widenham, residential burglary and theft.

Christopher Womber, 51, 1527 W Gilbert, two counts of aggravated battery criminal trespass to residence.

Clarence Elam, 43, 301 Meadows Ave, East Peoria, unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Nathan Leemon, 37, 10623 Dale St., theft.

Anthony Davis, 47, 114 E Melbourn, domestic battery.

James Trice, 3623 NE Monroe, retail theft.

Kimontrell Williams, 18, 2129 W Malone, three counts of unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle and one count of aggravated unlawful possession of a stolen motor vehicle.

Sandy Jimenez, 45, 1618 S Eden Rd, Hanna City, two counts of aggravated DUI, one count of driving while license revoked.
