PEORIA, Ill. -- A Peoria County courthouse employee, accused of hiding a murder weapon, plead not guilty on Thursday.

Kimberly McNeil, 43, is the mother of accused murderers Marquis Costic and Michael Costic.

Marquis was convicted last month for the April 2013 murder of Treyshawn Blakely, 17.

Michael is awaiting charges for the same crime.

McNeil is accused of hiding the weapon used in that murder.

Her next court appearance is scheduled for April 3.
