BLOOMINGTON, Ill.-- A very unique game of bingo was played today in honor of Illinois Wesleyan's homecoming weekend.
Illinois Wesleyan's habitat for humanity campus chapter held the second annual cow pie bingo fundraiser.
The organization sold squares of grass or 'bingo squares' and then let the cows in.
Whichever square the cow chose to leave her 'pie' in--- was the winner of $300.
Campus chapter president Amanda Fazzari says they had heard of the event being popular in other places so they thought they would try it here.
"When we sold tickets we just started asking people if they wanted to win 300 dollars so then people came our way. And when we told them about it they laughed. But why not win 300 dollars. It's interesting and it's funny but it's pretty big,” Fazzari said.
Unfortunately the two calves may have had some stage fright and neither of them 'pied."
The winner was determined by where the cow where the cows hoof was when time was up.
The cow pie bingo game raked in 15 hundred dollars for the Mclean county habitat for humanity.
