NORMAL, Ill -- Uptown Normal was seeing red Saturday morning.
A couple dozen people took part in Saturday's second annual Red Dress Dash.
Many wore their best red outfits for the event to raise awareness for Heart Health.
The half-mile course was canvassed with heart health tips so participants could learn something along the way.
"Get your blood pressure checked regularly, visit your physician and talk to your physician, know your numbers, know your cholesterol numbers, eat healthy, exercise, so just little tips like that are things to keep in mind," said event organizer Valerie Hawkins.
Prizes were given to best dressed and most creative outfits.
