PEORIA, Ill. -- A District 150 teacher pleaded not guilty in federal court to enticement charges on Thursday.
Amanda Ludwig, 28, was arrested in February for allegedly enticing a 15-year-old Manual student. She was the student's art teacher.
A criminal complaint filed against Ludwig said that she started texting the student in August of last year. The texts turned sexual in nature and led to Ludwig and the student engaging in sexual intercourse in her classroom.
She faces 10 years to life in prison if found guilty.
Ludwig is set to appear in court for a pre-trial hearing on April 11.
