PEORIA, Ill. -- June 20 is Drive it Forward Friday, but some are unfamiliar with the movement.
It's a day to encourage drivers to keep their cool when tempted to drive aggressively and succumb to road rage.
A recent study from Safeco Insurance says three in 10 drivers revealed they are more likely to drive aggressively during the summer months.
Some locals say they give in from time to time.
"Sometimes I have a little road rage," said Taylor Bingham. "Then I'm nice sometimes."
You can take part in the movement by being courteous to other drivers on the road.
Things like letting people into your lane and giving up your parking spot can help.
