EAST PEORIA, Ill -- Across the river, it's good news for most of East Peoria as city officials say the levee is holding up well.

Despite the Illinois River cresting at 29.3 feet, Camp Street to Riverside Drive has been re-opened; but the Camp-Riverside intersection is still closed.

The city has been consulting with army corps of engineers to figure out when residents evacuated from the Richland Farms area can go back home.

The Red Cross shelter at Illinois Central College remains open.
