PEORIA, Ill -- Peoria police are looking for suspects after an elderly couples home on the 2400 block of Maryland was broken into Wednesday morning.

Authorities say that the suspects forced their way into the home through the back door and rummaged through the home, including the room that the 89-year-old victim was sleeping in.  Police say that two handguns, a flat panel television and two cell phones were taken.

The suspects then stole the victim's vehicle, causing damage to it as they backed out of the garage.

The vehicle was later found with the passengers and side doors open in an alley on the 800 block of Ravine.  Police believe that four suspects were in the vehicle.  There was damage on both sides of the car.
