LUTSEN, Min. -- Remember all that extra snow we got during the winter?

Well, they got extra snow in Minnesota too....like four feet more snow than usual. Which explains why they'll be skiing on the fourth weekend of April there.

In fact, for the first time ever, Lutsen mountains will be open through the first weekend in May.

Admittedly, they had to move some snow from stock piles, to cover thin spots on eagle mountain.

This year they've had 13 feet of snow-- four feet more than their average.
