CENTRAL ILLINOIS -- The CDC is out with new numbers tonight on the flu, and it has gotten a lot worse in the last couple of weeks.

Twenty-five states are now reporting widespread flu activity, up from ten last week.

The dominant strain circulating this year is H1N1, which if you'll remember from 2009, primarily affects young adults.

So far this season, there have been 61 flu admissions to Illinois hospital intensive care units.

Three people have died.

H1Ni is included in this year's flu vaccine and experts say it is not too late to get vaccinated.
