Former Towanda Grain Co. employees sentenced to prison

Two men formerly associated with the Towanda Grain Company were sentenced to prison, Wednesday, for their roles in a $13 million dollar scheme.

Farmer Robert James Printz of Fairbury was ordered to 10 years in prison.

Grain Manager Timothy Boerma of Lincoln,was sentenced to six years.

The two men plead guilty in May of wire fraud and money laundering.

Printz must pay more than $7 million in restitution, and Boerma just over $6 million.
