PEORIA, Ill. -- Four more jurors were seated Thursday for the Christopher Harris mass murder trial in Peoria County court.

That brings the total to eight.

35 year old Harris and his younger brother Jason are charged with killing five members of the Gee family in their Beason home in September of 2009.

Jury selection moved along much faster Thursday as Defense attorneys, Prosecutors and the judge spent less time grilling potential jurors.

Sixteen people were dismissed, many saying they were not able to spend an entire month off their job.

Prosecutors must prove that Harris brutally beat Rick and Ruth Gee and their three children. One young child survived.

If convicted Harris faces up to life in prison.

Jury selection continues on Friday.
