PEORIA, Ill. -- Funeral arrangements have been set for an 8-year-old Peoria boy found dead last week.
On Thursday, Peoria Police found Marquail Johnson inside of an abandoned refrigerator just doors from his home in the 700 block of S. Western Ave.
The Peoria County coroner said Johnson likely died of suffocation.
Services will take place Saturday morning at the New Cornerstone Baptist Church in Peoria.
The visitation will begin at 9 a.m. with the funeral to follow at 10 a.m.
