PEORIA, Ill. -- Gasoline prices are heading in reverse in the Peoria area.

According to gasbuddy.com, the price came down just over four-cents this past week, and now average 3.66 a gallon.

The national average was down about one-and-a-half cents, to 3.64.

Gas buddy's senior analyst says, for now, the national average has peaked.

And if there are no surprises in the next few weeks, prices should drop into the 3.50's by Memorial Day weekend.
