Gas prices in Peoria raise a little over a penny

PEORIA, Ill. -- Average retail gasoline prices in Peoria have risen 1.2 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.73 per gallon Sunday according to GasBuddy.com

This compares with the national average that has fallen 2.5 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.64 per gallon.

Including the change in gas prices in Peoria during the past week, prices Sunday were 24.8 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are 7.2 cents per gallon lower than a month ago.

The national average has decreased 9.5 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 21.9 cents per gallon lower than this day one year ago.
