PEORIA, Ill. -- As the river slowly receeds, the Peoria County Health Department is asking residents who have wells contaminated with flood water to get them tested.

If you believe your well could have come into contact with flood water, you can get a free test kit from the county health department.

The health department is located at 2116 North Sheridan in Peoria, and is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
