PEORIA, Ill. -- It was an international affair on the campus of Bradley University Sunday.
Students from across the world exchanged greetings and conversations about their first days on campus.
It was part of the school's first ever international student meet and greet.
Students enjoyed a welcome from President Joanne Glasser and tickets to the taste of Bradley.
Organizers said the event is part of an effort to improve the experience for international students.
"I think this is going to be a great opportunity so we can exchange some ideas, our experiences," said Abdel Rahman Abdallah, an Engineering major from Palestine. "If we face some problems. We will probably face the same problems we do so some of us will solve them and give us some tips."
The University has more than 200 international students.
Classes at Bradley start Wednesday.
