PEORIA, Ill. -- The Itoo Society celebrated their 100th year anniversary today.

The society began July 4, 1914 and now has as many members as the village of Aytou, Lebanon itself.

Festivities kicked off with the mayors of Peoria and Aytou signing a document declaring the two to be sister cities.

"There is a sister city relationship between Peoria and Aytou, and we really feel fortunate to be a part of it," said Itoo member Randi Couri. "We're looking forward to what the next few years brings us."

Aytou is the 4th sister city to Peoria and members say they hope to continue to be a positive influence in the community.
