WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Jesse Jackson Jr. and his wife Sandi were to be sentenced on Federal election fraud charges this week, but that's been delayed by the judge.
The reason for the delay was not given Monday when Federal judge Amy Berman Jackson announced the change.
It is anticipated that Jesse Jackson would receive a four year prison term, and his wife 18 months.
Prosecutors have suggested staggering the couple's prison time to allow one parent to stay with the Jackson children.
No date has been set for the sentencing.
