LINCOLN, Ill. -- A Hanna City animal shelter is the winner of the “RK Dixon Make My Non-Profit Run Better” contest.
It is the volunteers of stray animal midway shelter, or SAMS, in Hanna City. The non-profit is the winner of an office technology makeover up to $15,000.
"We just closed on this building on Friday,” said Connie Davis of SAMS. “So it couldn't come at a better time."
"We decided why not provide that office equipment for these great organizations that help out in our communities. So let's help them,” said RK Dixon President & CEO Bryan Dixon.
SAMS is an organization that volunteers have run from their home for years. With the new home in Hanna City and the office technology makeover, Connie Davis said they will be able to help more stray animals find forever homes.
YMCA of McDonough County and Retreat & Refresh Stroke Camp in Peoria will both receive printers from RK Dixon.
