PEORIA, Ill. -- This year's St. Jude Dream Home is a spectacular 4 bedroom, two and a half bath home located in the Sommer Place Subdivision.

Brandon Dean with Dean Custom Builders says building this house is all about his family owned business helping other families.

"We got the opportunity to go see the hospital in Memphis and after we saw that, my wife and I, we had to help and help the families and help the children at St. Jude. It's one of the best things we've ever done," Dean said.

Many area companies donate time and materials to make this possible. They all share the same sentiment.

"The idea that children can receive excellent medical care and to receive it for, ya know, the families don't even get a bill, that's just a cause we couldn't turn away," said Kim Washburn of Lippman's Furniture.

This year designers decided to go a little more contemporary with the home. It offers a lot for any family, big or small.

"Each time I go from room to room I think I have a different favorite room. It started out where I thought the family room was my favorite, and then I thought the master bedroom was my favorite, but now I think I'm pretty much sold on the flex room," Washburn said.

For just $100 you can have a chance at winning this house valued at $330,000.

"Your odds are better at winning this house than winning the lotto and at least this you get a cause that you're helping other families and you're helping save children's lives," Dean said.
