MESA, AZ -- Five siblings. Five weddings. Just one day.
It started as kind of a joke, when five members of the Waldie family -- three girls, and two boys -- all got engaged within weeks of each other.
Then it became a "practical" solution... financially.
Five separate weddings in one day at a Mormon Church in Mesa, Arizona.
One of the Waldie Children who wasn't getting married, 18 year old Andee, was a bridesmaid for four of her siblings' weddings. Wearing a different dress and shoes each time.
Following the ceremony, more than a thousand people showed up to the wedding receptions at the Air Force Museum.
All of the couples are currently celebrating their honeymoons -- separately.
There are two more Waldie daughters who are still single.
