NEW YORK -- This women has become famous without saying a word.
Lydia Callis became an overnight sensation during Mayor Bloomberg's news conferences on Hurricane Sandy.
Comments about the very expressive Ms. Callis hit the Internet immediately and went viral.
She was such a big hit that "Saturday Night Live's" opening sketch last week featured their take - with New Jersey Governor Christy and his interpreter.
"I'm gonna be a good soldier and vote for Romney, but I'm gonna hate it," said Governor Christy in the SNL skit.
"Uh, did you see "Saturday Night Live?" Mayor Bloomburg asked his interpreter afterwards, getting laughter from the audience.
"I did," replied Callis.
Some commentators have said Lydia Callis is the best thing about the Mayor's news conferences.
