KRASNOYARSK, Russia -- Skiers and snowboarders had a fun way to welcome the spring in Russia Monday.
Although it really doesn't look much like spring. Then again, we're not in Siberia.
Residents marked the last day of the skiing season by dressing up in wacky costumes and sliding into a pool of water.
The goal was to get across or over the pool, but most ended up getting themselves and cameras wet.
The participants were judged on their costumes, the size of their splashes and how spectacular their failures were.
For locals, it's a sign that spring has come to Siberia.
