WALES, UK -- This woman has been on the job...and on a bike...for 40 years.

How many of you started your working life pounding the pavements as a paper boy or girl? And, how many transitioned to an easier job after getting up very early in the dead of Winter a few times?

Well, an elderly British woman is proving that paper routes aren't just for kids. 81-year-old Joyce Pugh has been officially recognized as the oldest papergirl in the world by the Guinness Book of World Records.

Pugh has been delivering the Shropshire Star six days a week to residents in the Welsh town of White Grit for more than 40 years. Pugh says that she usually bikes the route and Joyce has dropped an astonishing 291,000 copies, pedaled more than 10,000 miles and never taken a day off sick.

Her salary is 90 cents a day.
