Washington, Ill. -- Area tornado victims have one less thing to worry about this holiday season.
125 hams and all the trimmings were given out to families this afternoon.
The Illinois Pork producers provided the hams -- everything else came from area donations.
Camp Good News organized the event to help those affected by the tornado check at least one thing off their list.
“A lot of the families wanted to be at home. They're finally into their temporary housing and they wanted their family home for Christmas,” said organizer Jim Kellerstrass.
Any leftover bags will be given to another organization that will also provide Christmas dinners.
