According to a news release from the Fulton County (Ga.) District Attorney's Office, a 28-year-old Georgia man pleaded guilty Thursday to charges that he killed his girlfriend's dog and then beat his girlfriend with the dead pet during an incident in May.
The man pleaded guilty to aggravated assault, battery, aggravated animal cruelty and animal cruelty, according to the news release. A sentencing date has not been set, according to the news release.
