A Maquon woman already charged with DUI could now face vehicular homicide charges following the death of a Peoria man this week.

The Peoria county coroner says Sam Streeter, 33, of 2016 W. Lincoln Avenue died Wednesday of head injuries.

Erin Williams, 32, allegedly struck Streeter a week ago as he walked along Martin Luther King Drive in the middle of the night.

Police say Williams was driving home from her boyfriend's house in Peoria when she hit the man.

They say she then drove back to her boyfriend's house, and they went together to tend to Streeter.

The coroner says the victim also had a blood alcohol level more than four times the legal limit when he was struck.
