BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The Mission Mart in Lincoln will soon be in a new home.
Home Sweet Home Ministries has purchased a building on Sangamon Street, which will house the mart.
The current Mission Mart is in downtown Lincoln, but causes a logistical problem for the non-profit.
"Right now we have zero space when people come and want to drop off their donations. So often times, logistically, we have to maneuver things from Lincoln to Bloomington and back to Lincoln," said Matt Drat, Development and Community Relations Manager.
The new building will allow donations to be sorted and tagged for sale at the store.
Home Sweet Homes hopes to move in by the start of summer.
