NORMAL, Ill. -- Illinois State University is another step closer in its search for a new school president.
The ISU Board of Trustees met Saturday to find a replacement for University President Doctor Al Bowman.
ISU spokesman Jay Groves says Florida-based search-firm Greenwood/Asher and Associates will now join the efforts.
Groves says ISU has worked with the firm in previous years.
The next step is getting a University search committee together to work with the firm and board of trustees.
The school hopes to name a new President before the fall semester.
Bowman, who is in his tenth year at ISU, announced last month he's retiring because of his health.
