PEORIA, Ill. -- Police are looking for a suspect involved in a string of armed robberies at the same Peoria gas station.

Police say a man wearing a mask and gloves has robbed the Marathon gas station on N. Knoxville three times since Friday.

Video surveillance shows the man using a knife all three times.

A struggle during the robbery on Monday sent one employee to the hospital with minor injuries.

"I don't know what the suspects reasoning was, but I don't think they were singled out for any specific purpose other than that's where he decided to go for the money," said Lt. Willie King. "We don't appreciate the fact that people go in and rob people and especially attack them."

Police would not disclose how much money was taken. They are continuing to investigate with the help of security footage.

Police urge anyone with information to call CrimeStoppers at (309) 347-9000.
