Perth, Australia -- The largest and most valuable gold coin in the world was unveiled Friday at Australia's Perth Mint.
The coin weighs just over one ton and is 99.9% pure gold. A team of a dozen people worked on the coin for the better part of a year and a half.
The coin is valued at around $56.6 million.
It measures two-feet, seven-and-a-half inches wide and four and three-quarters inches deep.
The coin has a kangaroo on one side and an image of Queen Elizabeth the second on the other.
It was finished just in time for a visit by the Queen....
