Normal man convicted in 2012 shooting

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- A 21-year-old Normal man has been found guilty on four counts of attempted murder in connection to an October 2012 shooting.

On Tuesday, a McLean County jury convicted Ross Johnson of forcing his way into a party at an apartment in the 1100 of Gettysburg Drive in Bloomington and firing several shots through the door on October 14, 2012.

Four people were injured in that shooting.

Johnson's conviction also includes one count of home invasion and four counts of aggravated battery with a firearm.

Johnson will be sentenced December 3.
