Normal police ask for public's help finding robbery suspect

NORMAL, Ill. -- The Normal Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying a suspect from an Aggravated Robbery of the Freedom Oil, 601 S. Main Street.

On October 26, at approximately 9:24 p.m. a suspect entered Freedom Oil and demanded money from an employee while threatening him with a firearm. The suspect exited the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a 20 to 30 year old man, five foot five to five foot eight inches tall with a medium to stocky build.

The suspect was wearing a dark coat, light long pants and light colored shoes with a light colored cloth over his face
