Normal police ask for public's help in finding armed robbery suspect

NORMAL, Ill. -- The Normal Police Department ha asked for the community’s help in finding a suspect from an armed robbery at the Circle K Store, 1606 N. Main Street, in Normal.

On Saturday, at approximately 2:15 a.m. the suspect entered the business, demanded money and displayed a handgun.

Police said the employees cooperated with the demands and the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect has been described as a black male between 20 and 30 years of age with black hair and brown eyes. The suspects height is between 5'7"and 6'0".

The suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with dark blue and black pants. He also has a thin mustache with sideburns.
