PEKIN, Ill. -- A Pekin man is in jail facing attempted murder charges after a fight.

Pekin police said they were called to the 1500 block of Mechanic Street

They found three adults had been stabbed and the suspect Andrew Bohnert had also received cuts.

Two of the victims were taken to OSF St Francis in Peoria.

One had to undergo surgery.

Pekin police believe the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute.

"The suspect obviously got into a physical confrontation with the folks at the residence but before that he actually slashed some tires of some vehicles in front of the residence as well," said Detective Mike Eeten. "It was not a random act of violence in the city. It was definitely a targeted attack. "

The suspect Andrew Bohnert is being charged with attempted murder, home invasion, domestic battery, and aggravated battery.

He is expected to appear in Tazewell County court tomorrow.
