Pekin man plays same Lottery number for 12 years, wins $250,000

EAST PEORIA, Ill. -- The winner of a $250,000 Lottery prize has stepped forward.

A Pekin man who has been playing the same six Lottery numbers for 12 years has claimed a $250,000 Lottery prize by matching five of the six numbers in a recent Mega Millions drawing.

Wednesday, the winner will be presented an oversized, commemorative check from Lottery officials at SK Short Shop, 2000 Springfield Road in East Peoria.
