PEORIA, Ill. -- The Peoria man who was hit by a car and died Thursday night may have had a vision problem... according to his family.
The Peoria county coroner says an autopsy showed 48-year old Daniel Dismang died of blunt force injuries.
Dismang was hit by a jeep while crossing Adams Street before 6:00 p.m.
Coroner Johnna Ingersoll said the man was hit on his right side and his family told her that he had no vision in his right eye due to being attacked a couple years ago.
Ingersoll said toxicology testing has been ordered.
Police did not issue any tickets.
