PEORIA, Ill. -- A Peoria man is having trouble with the law again.

Robert Nunn Sr. was arrested Wednesday on charges of communicating with a witness, aggravated assault and possessing a weapon as a felon.

Nunn was acquitted in January for the 2004 murder of Anthonio Faulkner. Faulkner was found shot to death in a car parked outside his sister's home in the 800 block of South Wiswall Court.

Nunn remains in the Peoria County Jail.

His son, Robert Nunn Jr. is also in jail awaiting sentencing for a different murder.
