Peoria man charged in connection with shooting of Peoria High School student

PEORIA, Ill. -- The man accused of shooting a Peoria High School student on Tuesday has been ordered held under $150,000 bond.

Quantrey King, 18, is charged with Aggravated Battery with a Firearm and Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm.

King appeared in circuit court via video and was appointed a public defender. He made no comments about the shooting.

King was allegedly the passenger in the car when the drive-by shooting took place.

At this time, no other persons have been charged.
