PEORIA, Ill. -- Peoria police have arrested a man in connection to an April homicide.

On Tuesday, police arrested Michael Costic, 24, in connection with the murder of 17-year-old Treyshawn Blakely.

Blakely was shot and killed April 7 in the 1600 block of West Butler.

Police say they located Costic after he was allegedly involved in a domestic dispute.

He is being held of charges of murder, domestic abuse and interfering with the report of a domestic dispute.

Police have also confirmed that Michael Costic is the brother of Marquis Costic, 22, who was arrested in April for the same shooting.
