PEORIA, Ill. -- An arrest made over the weekend puts a Peoria man behind bars alongside his son, who is also facing murder charges.

Authorities say 36-year-old Robert Nunn, Sr. was arrested Saturday and charged with the 2004 murder of Antonio Faulker.

Faulker, then 21 years old, was found shot to death inside a parked car on Peoria's South side.

Nunn's bond is set at $2 million.

His son, Robert Nunn Jr., was arrested and charged in the May shooting death of 19-year-old Kelin Drummond, in what authorities believe was a drug deal gone bad.

Peoria Police say all the information finally came together, leading to the arrest of Nunn Senior.

"Well, I hope it sends the message that we never give up," said Lieutenant Elizabeth Doyle. "We will always work to bring a case to a successful conclusion, both for the victim and for the families."

A preliminary hearing for Robert Nunn, Sr. is set for September 20.
