CHICAGO -- Illinois State Police are investigating the murder of a 25-year-old Chicago woman who was shot while driving on the Dan Ryan Expressway.

Jasmine Curry was supposed to start a new job today. Instead, police are looking for whoever fired multiple shots into her van this morning.

Another woman and a man inside the van at the time were unhurt.

Her father, Pierre Curry, told reporters that Jasmine was the second of his children to be shot to death.

"I lost a son last year, 63rd and State Street. Shot. Seventeen years old. Now I've lost my first born and my last born,” said Curry.

Jasmine Perry was five months pregnant at the time of her death.

State Police say they have a description of the other car involved in the shooting.
