PEORIA, Ill. -- Peoria police are investigating an armed robbery that took place at Johnson Mini Mart, 907 W. Johnson St., over the weekend.
Officers spoke to the owner of the business. He said that on Saturday night at 8:00 p.m., a black male suspect entered the business with a handgun.
The suspect pointed the weapon at him and demanded undisclosed items. The owner complied and the suspect fled the scene.
The suspect was wearing a black jacket, black stocking cap and a black mask.
There are no known suspects at this time.
