CHICAGO, Ill. -- Chicago Police are searching for three people who managed to jump from the top of North America's second tallest building overnight, using parachutes to float to the ground.
A police spokesperson says authorities received 9-1-1 calls shortly after midnight Thursday from people who saw the trio of base jumpers leap from the top of Trump International Hotel and Tower.
Police say the jumpers used a cutting device to jump from the almost 1,400 foot building.
The incident is under investigation and police say the jumpers could face trespassing charges.
No injuries have been reported. A description of the jumpers has not been released.
