Red Cross offers "sober cups" again this St. Patrick's Day

PEORIA, Ill. -- The merriment continues after the basketball stops bouncing this weekend.

Saint Patrick's day is Monday, so you can probably expect a few people going out this weekend to warm-up, tip their elbows a little to get them in shape for the holiday.

To help make sure everyone makes it home safely, the American Red Cross is once again offering its sober driver program.

Eight local restaurants and pubs will be offering free non-alcoholic drinks to designated drivers.

* Two25, 225 NE Adams St., Peoria, IL
* Yesterdays’ Bar and Grill, 363 Court St., Pekin, IL
