ILLINOIS -- As the weather warms up, the last signs of winter are beginning to melt away.
But that brings with it another set of problems.
NOAA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, has unveiled its outlook for spring.
It states that Illinois has a minor to moderate risk of flooding, due to the current amount of snow we have melting, and because the ground is still in a deep freeze.
The Illinois River is on the list for potential flooding due to these conditions.
