PONTIAC, Ill. -- A single vehicle crash claimed the life of the driver on Monday.
Livingston County officials say that 22-year-old Rebecca A. Koltveit of Pontiac was pronounced dead on the scene.
The crash occurred in Rooks Creek Township on Livingston County Road. Authorities say that Koltveit apparently lost control of the pick up truck on an icy bridge deck. The truck went through the fence and came to rest against a tree.
The crash is being investigated by Livingston County Sheriff's Police.
An autopsy has been ordered for the victim, but no date has been set yet.
