PEORIA, Ill. -- St. Jude is adding five new runs to it's fundraising program. Of them--three local runs in Mackinaw, Metamora and Lewistown.

There are also two new longer runs that start in Mississippi and Arkansas and both end in Memphis, Tenneesee. There are now 38 official saint jude runs.

Co-founder Michael McCoy says just how big of an accomplishment this is.

"Five new runs means we're looking at 250 more people," said McCoy. "If you take 250 people and times them by $1000 each minimum--we're looking at a $250,000-$500,000 raised for st. Jude this year."

Other cities have already expressed interest in having a run, and McCoy says they are considering adding more.
